Marleon (4.2)4 years ago Still too strong. Even in the early turns, you can use it, to get a full set of the minions you really want and develop a strong board and strategy much faster then your opponents, because you can just freeze the board and buy minions you would want having a guaranted useful choice. Like you buy a Wrath Weaver turn 1 and now, every single turn you can buff him, rerolling into a full tavern of demons. It snowballs quite fast.
Shoemanband (creator)4 years ago This version works similarly to Party of Four from Bazaar Bob's encounter. However, if you pick a minion without a type, you will get minions also without a type. Thoughts?
Shoemanband (creator)4 years ago You might be right about that. I'll change it to something different, then.
FreshPuppy 4 years ago Granted, it's more balanced than I originally thought, but this seems oppresive in a way. Could you technically just prevent people from buying certain minions? If that's the case, it seems a bit strong still.
Shoemanband (creator)4 years ago That's kind of the idea. However, this offers no support in the early rounds and is really only useful turn 8. You also need to upgrade the tavern frequently to get to that point, since there are only 6 copies of each tier 6 minion.
FreshPuppy 4 years ago doesn't this make it way to easy to get triples? This could be very dangerous with some minions. Just the thought getting guaranteed golden tier 6 minions is scary.
Shoemanband (creator)4 years ago There are multiple copies of each minion in Bob's Tavern, but that pool is shared among all players. Luna's Hero Power ensures that you'll always get what you're looking for. Thoughts?
